The restaurant serves Lappish – Finnish local food

The Holiday Village’s Cafeteria-Restaurant Suvanto serves travellers throughout the year. We are open daily in the summertime and offer a wide range of cafeteria-restaurant services. Other times by arrangement. The restaurant serves Lappish – Finnish local food and the ingredients can’t get more local: salmon is naturally caught from the Tenojoki River, reindeer from indigenous Sámi reindeer herders, cloudberries, other Lappish berries and wild mushrooms are picked from the neighbouring fell highlands.

Food and services

The restaurant seat 50 persons inside, while our sunny terrace has seating for another 25 persons. The restaurant is fully-licensed.

During the summer season, the restaurant serves travellers and residents alike daily. Try the meal of the day, choose local specialties from the menu or homemade fried cafeteria delights.

For residents we serve breakfast and three-course meals to order. The atmosphere-rich Lappish kota restaurant is open for groups by arrangement.

The reception has souvenirs, information leaflets and an internet point.
